gfi logoGFI Software today announced the latest release of its GFI MAX Managed Antivirus solution, incorporating the latest VIPRE anti-malware technology,

and the launch of a free malware removal service for MSPs using the product.

Malware protection in GFI MAX – which is already used by MSPs to protect more than 250,000 endpoints worldwide – is based on the award-winning VIPRE from ThreatTrack Security and can be delivered as a stand-alone service or as part of the GFI MAX RemoteManagement portfolio. Managed service providers using the latest version of GFI MAX Managed Antivirus will now get a malware removal service FREE of charge, such is the company’s confidence that the new and improved anti-malware technology in VIPRE can stop tough and hard-to-detect malware.

VIPRE has been re-engineered to handle even the hardest to detect malware. With managed antivirus provided as an integrated solution, GFI MAX allows MSPs to easily deploy antivirus agents on machines throughout their customers’ networks, as well as to monitor, manage, report on and remediate any issues from a single dashboard, further capitalizing on the growing demand for managed security solutions.

In addition to its effectiveness against malware, the VIPRE anti-malware technology allows GFI MAX partners to minimize the overhead that the solution has on their customers’ systems, ensuring that their end users remain productive as well as protected. For the MSP, deployment is the easiest in the industry via the integrated Competitive Agent Removal Tool (CART), which automates the removal of existing antivirus agents, freeing up resources within the MSP.

The integration of VIPRE antivirus technology to the GFI MAX platform allows MSPs to further provide their customers with holistic management of their networks. In addition to managed antivirus, GFI MAX MSPs are equipped to provide remote monitoring and management, patch management and managed online backup from a single dashboard.
