He’s always been “One To Watch” from the Silicon Valley to red hot Nashville. From Fortinet to Coro. From mail room (I’m kinda kidding but there is truth to humor) to CEO. Sykora is now 18-months in role as the CEO at Coro and we were overdue for a chat but understandably he’s a busy man. This dude has “street cred” having carried the bag as an MSP as the founder of InterSpace Computers. Dets: “Founded, built & sold a Cloud-based technology company specializing in Outsourced IT Provider Specializing in Virtualization and Thin client Applications with +100% YoY growth & $10M annual revenues” That 12+ year run was predictive of where he is today.
Let’s get into the good stuff!

Q: Who/what is Coro?
A: (Sykora): Coro is not a new company. Coro's been around for about 11 years. So you know, there's always things that we're doing though, right? We're advancing the product, automating the back end. We did move to 100% channel. So we are only through the channel in MSPs. We don't sell direct.
Q: What's going on the product side with your stack?
A: Sure, well listen, the whole premise of Coro is it is a complete all-in-one stack. And when I say it's a complete stack, this isn't a bunch of different technologies with API integrations. This is truly built for the, I'd say, SMB lean IT market. with MSP in mind. So we have a grandparent, parent, child methodology. But we're a complete cyber solution. It's all built by us. It's a single pane of glass, which, you know, we take everything into one data set. Then we use AI to then do correlation and auto remediation. So for us, you're not sacrificing any of the security effectiveness, and we're giving a lot of cycles back, right? Because it's all about operational efficiencies. And all of us out there that have run MSPs know that's all about scale. Instead of say, 20, 30 clients, now they can handle 150, 200 clients,
That's a big force multiplier and really helps out the bottom line of the MSPs out there. So that's what Coro is about. And some of the new stuff that we've introduced last year: we introduced security awareness and training. This year, in fact, over at the Black Hat conference, we announced a partnership on the backup side, right? So we actually have a backup and recovery product with a company called Keep It. So pretty excited about that. And then up and coming here next is we have some AI visibility tools that we've developed. So they'll be released. If you're looking at like shadow AI or the concept of shadow AI, what's going on with your clients, delivering all that for a price point that MSPs can make money at and small businesses and people with lean IT can afford. That's kind of the culmination of everything I've done over my career, because I've done firewalls, I've done endpoint, I've done email and applications and DLP and compliance. And this has all at Coro in one single platform with one single pane of glass.
