What’s Your Side Hustle?
Some of us are loud and proud about having a side hustle. Others are shy and don’t promote this hidden jewel. And finally there are those that are side hustle celibate among us LOL!
In this goofy economy where opportunities are being reimagined every day for reasons ranging from A.I. to global economic protectionism, it’s prudent to revisit your business portfolio. Should you expand your market participation to incorporate a side-hustle or three?
I vote yes. I see it as economic diversification. That is, don’t put all your eggs in one basket like prior generations that stayed with an employment opportunity like an old school manufacturing J.O.B. It's a gig economy butter cup.

So what my side hustle. It’s the ye olde ski condo in Crested Butte , CO that is 23-miles south of Aspen (as the crow flies). The pad is both a business model as we rent it out. But it’s also a recreational respite. Nothin’ like a well timed visit to engage in my photography hobby with my Nikon SLR targeting Spring mountain flowers and Fall aspen leaves. Don’t get me started on the “skit to die” mantra that us skiers chant and Crested Butte can deliver the full range of a winter wonderland experience. And down here in Austin TX, I’m a neat guy if I name drop that I have a place in Colorado LOL! Hey - it keeps my dance card full.
In the spirit of Always Be Closing (ABC), I’d be negligent if I don’t promote ‘da ski pad.
