REPORT: ThreatLocker Zero Trust World 2026

Geek Speak

I will repeat! This was my first time at Zero Trust World. I learned a thang or three hehe. It focuses on teaching security professionals how to implement Zero Trust security and defend against modern cyberattacks. The event was held in early March 2026 in Orlando at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel and conference center.

Here are my highlights in a quick read format.

zero trust world

  1. Community giving - Ronald McDonald House and dawgs! There were a couple opportunities to support this organization. For example, if you completed the post-event survey, ThreatLocker donated $10USD.
  2. Supporting local business - ThreatLocker based in Orlando ergo the situs of the event. The economic multiplier were evident: event vendor services, hotel room spend, parties et.al
  3. Split audience demographic. This was very interesting to me. I’d offer ⅔ of the audience were IT Pros with inhouse jobs like banks. The balance were our beloved MSPs. I’d offer there was synergy here. A few MSPs told me that they support enterprises.
  4. Flawless logistics. You know a well-run event when you see it. And I’m a technology event critic. The trains ran on time.
  5. Old school technical - hands-on labs (HOT) and certification training and testing (with incentives to reduce attendee fee if you successfully complete a certification)
  6. Getting Texas braggy on ya - wear a NFL SuperBowl jersey at this and other events (pic) if you are seeking outsized attention). I’ll wear my Seattle Seahawks #12 jersey to every event this year!
  7. BONUS: Buses provided for airport pickup and return delivery.
