Small business IT and technology news for the SMB channel VAR, MSP, and IT professional.
Today, leading document management company, Xerox, released news that it has been named a leader in “The Forrester Wave Managed Print Services Q2 2012” report. This report, released yesterday, ranks MSP vendors on a 16-point criteria scale.
Senior Vice President for Xerox Managed Print Services, Andrew Morrison, is delighted by the announcement: “The MPS market continues to be dynamic, while Xerox’s leadership is a constant – demonstrating to our clients and channel partners that our strategies, tools and techniques deliver impressive, repeatable results around the world,” he said today1.
According to the Forrester Wave report, Xerox’s MSP offerings are well-balanced, taking top ranking in the areas of strategy and market presence. Xerox also achieved high scores for integration of outsourced IT support, enterprise print support, organizational commitment, mobile printing, global delivery and technology/solution ownership.
“[…]Xerox’s market reach has been enhanced through integration with its ITO business, expansion to many partners in the small and medium-sized business (SMB) space, as well as partnering with global delivery,” explained report author Craig Le Clair, Vice President and Principal Analyst for Forrester Research, in a press release today1.
Within the last year, Xerox acquired MPS provider NewField IT, which has greatly helped enable the implementation and assessment of new offerings. Xerox has also undertaken strategic alliances with Cisco and McAfee to increase both the security and technology of their Managed Print Solutions.
