Here we go again! As I do each week, I am really enjoying bringing our readers a quick round-up of the blog coverage I didn’t manage to get to during the week prior. It has been a bit of taking a breather here for us, since we wrapped up our Spring Conference and SMB 150 Awards Gala just over a week ago. But the quiet before the storm hasn’t lasted for long…before you know it, we will be gearing up for our annual fall event to be held Oct. 10-12 in Las Vegas at the Rio!

Please take some time to peruse a few snippets of information that we didn’t get a chance to bring you last week….let us also know if there was something we might have missed, which is not mentioned in this entry…because as you know…we love news!

Last week was a “catch-up” week for me having lost power for 6 days at my home (and home office) due to Hurricane Sandy. As I have mentioned in previous blogs, luckily we did not sustain any major damage…however, many in the tri-state area were not so lucky. That being said, we are trying to return to some type of normalcy following the hurricane (and a Nor’easter) that struck in the last 2 weeks.

Here we go again! As I do each week, I am really enjoying bringing our readers a quick round-up of the blog coverage I didn’t manage to get to during the busy week prior.

Even though it was a holiday weekend here in the U.S., there still was a fair amount of news last week, while everyone was preparing for their usual Memorial Day weekend parades, BBQs and beach days. For the most part, the weather held up rather nicely here in the NY/NJ area, with only a few spotty instances of clouds and light rain at some points.

Anaya, who most recently held a stint at NetEnrich as VP of Marketing, joined the distributor on April 9 in a similar capacity, focusing specifically on the North American region. Ironically, Anaya’s boss at NetEnrich was Justin Crotty, whom she had also worked with during her first turn at Ingram Micro over the course of about 9 years.

Here we go again! As I do each week, I am really enjoying bringing our readers a quick round-up of the blog coverage I didn’t manage to get to during the busy week prior.

Here at SMB Nation, we have been busy covering the events circuit on both coasts. I made my way into New York City last Tuesday to attend the Small Business Summit 2012, run by Ramon Ray of Smallbiztechnology.com. With more than 500 attendees, the event drew a crowd comprising small business owners from the NYC-metro area, as well as long-running sponsors Dell, Verizon, Wasp Barcode Technologies and Constant Contact.
