Today marks the long-awaited launch of Apple’s iPhone 5, which will be held this morning at 10 am (PST); 1 pm (EST). I plan to watch the event live from my desktop as it happens in a couple of hours. (Pictured at right is the iPhone 4, which I currently own).

I purchased my iPhone 4 last year when Sprint began supporting Apple products. I wanted to go for the 4s, but I remember the sales clerk telling me that if I wanted the 4s, I’d be waiting until Christmas! Now, one year later, I am anxious to see, (now that I’m due for another upgrade) if it makes sense for me to bump up to the 5 version.
