Interview with Kaseya’s CMO Loren Jarrett and a Strong Company Push in 2014

Loren Jarrett Headshot-1Good afternoon, SMB Nation Community! I was recently able to meet with Kaseya’s Chief Marketing Officer, Loren Jarrett (pictured). Loren took the time to discuss Kaseya’s strong 2013 growth, as well as plans for 2014 with me.

Loren started our call by introducing me to the “new Kaseya.” As many of you are aware, this company announced the appointment of Yogesh Gupta as CEO in June, 2013. With this appointment came an updating of the executive team; Loren herself was recently appointed as the company’s CMO. Additional appointments included: Prakash Khot as CTO (recently of Salesforce), Mark Combs as COO and Brian Murphy as CSO. All of these team members bring years of experience in the IT industry.

Lenovo Releases Q3 2013 Results, Reports SMB Growth

lenovoLenovo recently announced the results of its third fiscal quarter, which ended December 31, 2013. Harry and I were actually able to speak to Lenovo’s ‎Vice President North America Commercial Channels and SMB, Chris Frey, bright and early this morning, and he gave us the rundown on the record-setting quarter for the company and what it meant for the SMB Channel.

eGuard Technology Services Reports Fourth Consecutive Year of Growth

khaled 1Yesterday, eGuard Technology Services, a Washington, DC-based MSP, reported that it has seen significant year-over-year growth 2013. In fact, this marks the company’s fourth consecutive year of revenue growth. eGuard Technology representatives attributed the 2013 results to the addition of new clients, employees and services.

D&H Experiencing 8% FY 2013 Growth Bolstered by Mobility, Tablet Sales

D&H Distributing reported today that is has experienced more than 8% growth for the 2013 Fiscal Year (ending April 30, 2013), fueled by sales of mobility products.  This figure is more than three times the organic growth rate achieved by IT distribution in general over the past year.  Tablet sales at D&H have tripled year-over-year, driven by strong showings from Android models in the seven- and 10-inch formats.  This year’s overall growth figure adds to D&H’s tally of more than 380 consecutive profitable quarters.
