RapidFire Tools announces upcoming locations for award-winning trainings

RapidFire Tools, Inc. announced shared yesterday it will continue to present trainings for MSPs throughout September, in an effort to help MSPs and IT solution providers profit from network assessment.

The company will offer “Top Ways to Use IT Assessments to Win New Business and Grow Your Customer Relationships” at the MAX 2015 event Sept. 10 and the upcoming ASCII Group SMB Success Summit Sept. 16. “We continue to focus on educating the MSP community about the revenue potential associated with network assessment throughout the client life-cycle, from prospecting and new client onboarding, through client service and business reviews, and even by delivering new services,” RapidFire Tools CEO Mike Mittel said. “The best way to communicate all these uses is to let solution providers see for themselves how these tools are used and what kind of branded reports they can generate.  RapidFire Tools is honored that so many trade show attendees have recognized the value of these solutions, and have gone back to put our network assessment products successfully into practice.”

Its training session won “Best IT Workshop” at a spring 2015 ASCII Group SMB Success Summit.

Exclusive Q&A: Rob Rae…his First Days at Datto

Earlier this month, BDR provider Datto announced that it had hired Rob Rae as the company’s new VP of Business Development. Definitely no stranger to both the channel and the SMB industry, Rae is best-known for his tenure as Director of Partner Development and Operations at Level Platforms, where had been for the last six years prior to joining Datto last week.

For those of you that have met Rae personally, you will undoubtedly know that his commitment to the channel and the partners that serve our SMB industry is always something that’s top of his mind. This was always his mantra while he was with LPI, and he says it is something he will be taking over to his new position at Datto.

ASCII Group Makes a Stop in Atlantic City for its Roadshow Series

This year’s ASCII Group Summit road show stop for the NY/NJ area moved its location further south from Woodbridge to Atlantic City, NJ. Held at Caesar’s (no, not where the real Caesar lived), the event attracted a healthy mix of MSPs, VARs, vendors and distributors. I even managed to reconnect with a friend that I have known since first grade, who coincidently was attending with her husband, Joseph Fulgieri, a Long Island-based VAR.

(Pictured): ASCII Summit attendees gathered today at Caesar's in Atlantic City for a full day of business strategy tactics and education.

ASCII Events - How do they do it?

One thing clients like is managed expectations. In that category, I’d give the 2013 ASCII Success Summit a big thumbs up. You can count on a quality venue, great catering, approximately 100 engaged attendees, and a wide range of industry solution sponsors. You will also find the event is lacking the hyperbole or ethical conflicts plaguing other IT tours resembling aggressive time-share seminars. All in all, ASCII remains relevant and energetic “after all these years” with Jerry K at the day-to-day helm.
