The Distributor Continues to Enhance its Cloud-based Offering, Adding a Range of Leading Managed Services Provider Solutions to a Growing Transactional Model Tailored to SMB

D&H Distributing, a major provider of SMB and consumer technologies to the North American high-tech channel, announced today it is further enhancing its cloud solution portfolio by adding major new cloud-based service provider partners. The distributor has signed with SkyKick, a global cloud management software provider; and with ConnectWise, anDH industry-leading provider of software to enable as-a-service business models. Both of these cloud software providers are entrenched leaders in the managed service provider (MSP) space, and their solutions are now available as part of the D&H cloud portfolio. More information can be found at dandh.com/cloudsolutions.

SkyKick’s offering will deliver significant value to D&H MSP and VAR partners looking to seamlessly migrate customers to the Microsoft Office 365 platform, which represents a sizable opportunity across many verticals in the SMB business community. SkyKick offers a dynamic suite of project automation tools for stress-free migrations to this popular Microsoft protocol, which along with Microsoft Azure is one of the key platforms customers can leverage through the D&H Cloud Marketplace. SkyKick’s portfolio includes email migration and backup relative to Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

D&H will also offer remote monitoring, management, security and business automation solutions from MSP pioneer ConnectWise, helping partners transition to “as a service” delivery. ConnectWise will be a major participant in D&H’s “Success Path to Cloud” initiative, an enablement program that helps D&H customers transition to a lucrative managed services model. The Success Path to Cloud strategy teaches D&H partners how to profitably launch, optimize, and maximize their cloud practices, delivering greater value to their customers while gaining annuity-based revenues. D&H will participate in ConnectWise’s IT Nation conference in October of 2019, to educate ConnectWise’s customer base on the benefits of D&H’s Cloud Marketplace—especially those whose needs have often been overlooked by larger industry distribution partners.

D&H resellers and MSPs are invited to watch its newest Solutions Lab webcast, “What’s new with D&H Cloud?” which ran live on September 17 and is available on-demand at dandh.com/solutionslab. The session reviews the latest capabilities of the D&H Cloud Marketplace and provides news on the company’s most recent cloud solution partners, plus includes a walk-through of solutions from SkyKick, ConnectWise, and Axcient. Customers can visit dandh.com/solutionslab for additional tutorials.

“D&H partners are looking for ways to monetize the cloud market opportunity, and increase profitability by leveraging the right tools and services,” said D&H’s Vice President of Cloud Jason Bystrak. “D&H is thrilled with the rate at which it’s been able to accelerate its cloud offering, adding major cloud providers. It speaks volumes that prominent driving forces in the MSP marketplace like ConnectWise and SkyKick are responding in kind, helping to evolve the business models of solution providers in this unique space.”

The D&H Cloud Marketplace continues to sign significant partners and services to its portfolio, broadening the scope of the “Cloud Clusters,” or bundled groups of solutions that D&H customers can offer under a hosted services umbrella. This allows the MSP to assemble customized, bundled packages that create specific value for their clientele, instead of attempting to break into the MSP arena one individual service at a time.

The distributor began offering solutions from Webroot (cyber security) and ESET (security and anti-virus) earlier in 2019. This is in addition to the established list of D&H cloud service provider partners including Microsoft, Axcient, Dropbox, Dropsuite, BitTitan, Nimble, PlumChoice, and Intermedia, covering everything from data migration and back-up, web-based services, and cloud storage, to hosted CRM services and cyber security. Other significant partnerships are in-progress.

“We’re excited to partner with D&H as they look to bring greater cloud revenues and profitability to solution providers in the SMB space by adding SkyKick’s number one MSP-rated Migration Platform and Cloud Backup to its Marketplace,” said SkyKick Vice President of Business Development Peter Labes. “We look forward to working with D&H to transform the channel’s Office 365 CSP economics through the power of migration and cloud backup recurring revenue.”

“D&H is well known as a go-to distribution partner for the SMB market, facilitating a unique set of services,” said ConnectWise Director of Channel Sales Keith Graham. “We anticipate a robust partnership with D&H as we enable their reseller partners to succeed in a services-led business while the IT economy continues to diverge away from commoditized transactions. Adopting the ConnectWise platform and ecosystem will be an important first step toward this success as VARs look to increase their productivity, efficiency, and profitability.”

Hosted services can be easily provisioned through the D&H Cloud Marketplace by simply checking off a roster of services to be assigned to each end-client, creating an intuitive, straightforward method for VARs to deliver a hosted offering over multiple clientele. Customers can add their own skus and professional services via the platform as well, and invoice for all these services from the same interface. The Marketplace also features integrations with common MSP tools to facilitate invoicing, including ConnectWise.

D&H customers can view an on-demand Solutions Lab “Introduction to D&H Cloud Marketplace” tutorial illustrating how they can easily start selling bundled MSP services through the platform.
