Generating More Revenue from Office 365

Big Oct 7A key theme that kept coming up at the recent SMB Nation Fall Conference was “How do we make more money from

Office 365?” A main value proposition of Office 365 is that it’s easy to deploy and maintain, meaning that partners who were dependent on revenue from server installation and maintenance are having to adapt their business model. Thus, the message that attachedapps delivered at the Conference was very timely and very well received since their apps are designed for partners to generate additional revenue while filling in a key functionality gap in Office 365.

As you may recall from my earlier posts, attachedapps are a set of simple, Azure-hosted apps that are tightly integrated with Office 365 and Outlook, and enable customers to do things like share contacts, track sales, and manage customers. The apps include attachedContacts, a free app that integrates tightly with Outlook to easily manage and share contacts across the company and keep them in sync with Outlook across devices. attachedContacts+ is a paid app that enables additional security and lets you act as the customers’ administrator. There’s also attachedSales for sales pipeline management, follow-up tracking and reporting. Then there is attachedCustomers, which is great for customer service management, ticketing and follow-up capabilities.

attachedapps has a real “partner first” approach that lets you generate revenue through generous referral fees, and add-on services, such as remote administration, field customization and migration support. They even have co-branding and partner-specific tile capabilities. AND they just announced aPreferred Partner Program for partners that sign up before November 30th. Benefits include increased revenue sharing, preferred placement on their partner locator, and much more.
