HP’s Managed Print Specialist Reseller Program to Deliver Cloud-Based Solutions

Geek Speak

HP today announced new cloud solutions that help organizations improve efficiency and productivity while helping to ensure secure access to business information virtually

anytime, anywhere.

The company also introduced a new offering that enables channel partners to enhance their customer service and deliver on their own business objectives.

The HP Managed Print Specialist Resell program delivers cloud-based tools and sales options that help qualified partners control the managed print services (MPS) selling process and retain direct contract ownership without making a substantial investment in new infrastructure.

Here’s a run-down of what the program offers:

· The HP Express Decision Portal provides partners a platform for creating proposals and quote generation as well as client invoicing, reporting, monitoring and account management. This cloud-based application connects customers, partners and HP support, acting as a single portal for services, supplies and maintenance for a range of multivendor printers and multifunction printers (MFPs).
· HP Bundled Page pricing includes supplies, services and parts for resale to customers in an MPS contract. This establishes a stable cost structure through which channel partners can price competitively.

An extension of the HP Exstream customer communications management solution, HP Relate is a cloud-based offering that integrates with Salesforce to create and deliver compelling, highly personalized customer communications, including sales quotes, proposals, direct marketing and correspondences. HP Relate is immediately available on the Salesforce AppExchange, the world’s leading business apps marketplace, at www.appexchange.com.

The HP ePrint Enterprise for Good iOS app gives mobile users the ability to securely print from Good for Enterprise and the Good suite of secured mobile apps. Additionally, IT administrators have the ability to customize features within the application to manage the kind of content that can be printed and limit printing to networked printers behind the corporate firewall.

Other enhancements included in HP ePrint Enterprise 2.2 allow IT administrators to simplify the deployment and maintenance of HP ePrint Enterprise. For example, organizations can perform tasks like adding users or provisioning guests by leveraging existing profiles of users or groups already defined on the given LDAP directory service model.
Customers can now more easily access their business content anytime and anywhere with enhancements to HP Flow CM Professional,(2) HP’s cloud-based content management solution. The new encryption-at-rest feature helps to ensure that sensitive business content remains secure and encrypted when access controls such as user names and passwords fail.

HP Flow CM Professional also is now compatible with all new and existing HP LaserJet Pro and HP Officejet Pro devices with touchscreen displays. Additionally, the HP Flow CM Professional App is now available on Android devices via the Google Play Store. These updates make it easier for customers to capture, index, store and manage business documents to integrate electronic and paper-based documents into a single workflow.
