SaaSMAX Launches its SaaS Marketplace Today at ChannelCon

event, especially in the IT world, there are always going to be announcements and new product launches and this week’s event is no exception.We heard today from SaaSMAX that the company has moved its commercial release out of Beta and into an official SaaSMAX marketplace platform. The company, which is headed by Founder and CEO Dina Moskowitz, is based on bringing together channel resellers and app vendors, so that both can work to obtain increased revenues.

Based in San Diego, SaaSMAX has already in Beta signed up hundreds of SaaS vendors and VARs, all of whom are actively doing business in their SaaS marketplace. Just in the last year alone, SaaSMAX and Moskowitz have been recognized with various industry awards and accolades, such as a post on the CompTIA Vendor Advisory Council, the SMB 150 Award, and the CRN Top 500 Solution Providers Award.

The commercial launch kicked off today with the unveiling of the new SaaS marketplace at CompTIA’s ChannelCon, with WiseSaaS search functionality that now permits site visitors to immediately start searching and discovering trusted business cloud software solutions that match their needs. Moreover, SaaSMAX provides Resellers with permission-only on-demand access to many SaaS Vendors’ reseller and affiliate programs and their related incentives.

"Our SaaS marketplace listing format is designed to enable SaaS Apps to showcase themselves more thoroughly and comprehensively than anywhere else online,” Moskowitz said in a media statement. "During our beta period, we learned a lot from our Reseller members, many of whom are extremely selective and analytical about choosing Vendors to partner with and market to their customers. We’ve incorporated their feedback into this new marketplace platform to accommodate their needs for effective search and due diligence, vendor transparency, marketing enablement and efficient partner processes."

SaaSMAX features and functionality include but are not limited to: the members-only Reseller/Expert Directory; SaaSMAX AMP, a customizable affiliate platform to facilitate on-demand SaaSMAX Reseller engagement and commission tracking; and SaaSMAX PRM, a proprietary partner relationship management platform optimized for managing and tracking recurring commissions and other SaaS reseller program nuances.

Joining SaaSMAX is free to business users and qualified Resellers. Resellers in SaaSMAX typically include Managed Service Providers, Value-Added Resellers, IT Solution Providers and IT consultants, but also extend beyond IT to include Marketing & Digital Media consultants, HR consultants, tax & financial advisors and other trusted advisors within various business domains. SaaS Vendors pay a flat monthly or annual licensing fee.
