On-demand data center services provider SoftLayer Technologies® has announced solid financial and operational growth through the first half of 2010. 
The Dallas, TX-based firm with additional data centers Seattle and Washington, D.C., reports it earned $60 million in revenue for January 1 through June 30. Reps say it is on track for another record-setting year.
“Not only have we had record performance already this year, at the same time we’ve made significant preparations for years to come,” said Lance Crosby, chief executive officer.
Key milestones for SoftLayer through the end of June this past year have included: Cloud services and options such as Build Your Own Cloud, Isilon® IQ, Cloudkick Cloud Hosting Tools, and Citrix® Cloud Solutions, plus Services and features including IPsec and Data Transfer Service. New, native mobile management applications for were also developed in early 2010 for iOS™ and Android™ devices.
