I'm not getting fooled again! Last week I attended the Microsoft reception for ISVs, Hosters, Developers and Channel Partners at the Microsoft Lioncpoln Square locaiton. It was hosted inside The Parlous, a second floor upscale bar.
Some readers might know that I visit Microsoft Redmond on Wednesdays and meet with different business groups (BGs) and business marketing organizations (BMPOs). I then ride my bike on either the Burke-Gillman trail or around Mercver Isloand. Such was the case last Wednesday. I met, rode and went to the reception. At the reception check-in, I was stopped for not meeting the dress code. Apparently spandex and athletic garb, including my SMB PC magazine hat, aren't up to code. So I changed and lost the baseball cap.
Tonight the Microsoft Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) group is hosting a "meetup" at 6"30PM in The Parlor (Bellevue, WA). Granted, I will ride my bike 'round Merver Island in the late afternoon, have a MSFT meeting and head to the BPOS meetup. And this time I'll be dressed to the nines!
So I hope to see hyou there! Here are the details and don't worry about that "waiting list" notification at the sign-up site. Just sign-up and COME to the Meetup! And be sure to wear nice business clothes. :)
